Commission an Original Work of Art

One of my favorite parts about being an artist is creating original, custom pieces for people looking for artwork specialized for themselves or anyone near and dear to them! 

 

I have collaborated with clients to make one-of-a-kind works for a variety of occasions, including the sacraments of confirmation and matrimony, retreats, auction items, and personal devotional gifts.

If you're interested in having an original piece of art made, here are a few steps to get started:

1.) Let's get in touch and make a plan! Please email me at rachpaintsart@gmail.com to let me know your idea for the artwork you're envisioning. We'll discuss size, style, medium, etc., and I can answer any questions you have. Don't be shy to let me know any sort of special requests you might have for your artwork--your ideas help me!

2.) Once we settle on an idea, it's time to get to work! All artwork commissions include an initial deposit of $150 that I will request from you through an invoice via email. This deposit will go toward the final price. The final price of the artwork will vary depending on materials, size, time, etc. Final payment is due upon completion of the commissioned work.

Once the initial deposit is paid, I will start working on creating your piece. A minimum time frame of 2.5 weeks is required per piece. Most projects require a longer duration for completion, so I will be in touch about the timeline for your piece. Be sure to note any deadlines in our initial correspondence so that we can make the best plan for your art.

3.) I will be in touch with progress pictures of your artwork and will request any sort of feedback necessary along the way. Thank you for teaming up to make something cool together!
